Coordinate, don't copy
One way to keep the entire family looking unified is through coordinating colors. Pick three -four colors that look great on everyone, and work those colors into each outfit. Try one of these gorgeous color combinations:
1. Maroon-Grey-Khaki-Denim
2. Blue-White-Khaki-Yellow
3. Brown-Grey-Mustard
4. Maroon-Mustard-Navy-Denim
Start with one outfit that you really like, usually moms. From there, build onto it for everyone else.

Wear what you feel good in
If you aren’t comfortable in what you’ve chosen for pictures, it will show (this goes for kiddos too, there's nothing like an uncomfortable little one) If you can’t find a dress you feel good in, but you rock some skinny jeans, do it! If you can barely walk in heels, find some cute flats, boots or pretty sandals.
Wear what fits well. Keep in mind that for pictures, too large of a shirt, saggy jeans or a jacket that’s falling off the shoulders looks sloppy. Choose something that fits perfectly!
Moms- Maxi dresses are flattering on every body type. They look amazing and are so versatile. Add a belt or a necklace with strappy sandals or flats for the summer, or a belted fitted cardigan in the fall.

Say no to fluorescents & too many patterns
Fluorescent or neon colors create color casts on faces, necks and hair. They are harsh.
stripes or a plaid is most effective when used in small doses. Avoid wavy designs and really tiny print.
I recommend versions of primary colors or neutrals. mustard, maroon, rust, and navy blue.
